Description If you love data analysis, research and have a curious nature about you that leads you to needing to always find a solution, this may be a GREAT job opportunity for youWe are seeking an AR/Analyst for a client of ours in the upstate. In this role you will be working in customer portals, conducting research, and maintaining regular communication with internal departments. This role also involves keeping track of outstanding, unresolved short payments and maintaining a high volume of documents. Day - to - day responsibilities: Regularly accessing various customer portals to retrieve documentation such as debit memos and checks Conducting thorough research on various deduction types such as shortages, returns, compliance issues, and penalty issues Liaising with internal departments such as the sales team, transportation/logistics, and Accounts Receivable to resolve issues or provide documentation Managing communication with customers regarding additional documentation or other inquiries Identifying patterns and initiating proactive corrective action or resolution, making recommendations for further automation where possible to reduce volume and/or increase accuracySkills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) (preferred) Experience with Customer Portals (preferred) Strong Research skills Familiarity with Purchase Orders Strong attention to detail Data analysis ERP experienceRequirements Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Familiarity with the use of customer portals for account management. Ability to conduct thorough research to resolve account discrepancies. Experience in processing and managing purchase orders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
