(HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Accounting Analyst based at our America’s Headquarters in Greenville, NC .What you will do:
Assist in the accounting and reporting functions of the Americas General Accounting department.
Carry out, oversee, review, revise, and verify different financial transactions impacting the general ledger in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) guidelines.
Participate in internal, external, Sarbanes Oxley, and other audits throughout the year.
Aid in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes within the General Accounting department by generating ledger entries, managing reserve models, and preparing ledger reconciliations.
Manage precise reporting schedules, including quarterly SEC reporting, federal and state tax schedules, and monthly financial reports.
Consistently delivering thorough, precise, and punctual performance in alignment with set policies and internal controls, guided by the values of the company.
Support department initiatives by ensuring the implementation of reporting requirements, best practices, and continuous improvements

What you will need:
Four-year college degree with a major in Accounting or Finance.
CPA, CMA, MSA or MBA preferred, but not required.
3-5 years relevant work experience
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Proficiency in advanced industry accounting standards, principles, concepts, and theory.
At least 3 years of pertinent work experience, with a focus on general ledger.
Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation abilities. Capable of effectively engaging with senior management, department heads, and internal/external stakeholders.
