Senior Mechanical Engineer - Powertrain

Have an operational responsibility in the day-to-day development, new designs and changes to existing products. Product and procedures are given; however, the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions.Focus on own technical area with no or limited interfaces to other technical areas.Designing (as needed) cooling systems components and sub-components for PWTI -ICE (powertrain installation - internal combustion engines)Designing (as needed) exhaust systems components and sub-components for PWTI -ICE (powertrain installation - internal combustion engines)Ensuring new designs fulfill business targets, requirements and Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature targetsFront-loading work to ensure robust early-stage releases and stable late stage releasesReleasing components as applicable to resolve maintenance issues or secure project deliveriesHelp to engineer responsible for developing modular systems and components to optimize part diversity
