BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.As a dispatch coordinator, you will plan, co-ordinate and control the dispatch of our products, ensuring high levels of customer service is met. You will be interacting with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain and sales.This role is a full-time role working Monday-Friday. Enjoy a competitive remuneration package including our profit share program (annual bonus). You will have access to various health and well-being initiatives including Employment Assistance Program, Employee Real Deals and on-going learning, support and training.What Will You Do? In this critical role you will be responsible for:planning, coordinating and controlling the dispatch of goods from the Granville siteleading and controlling inventory integrity within the site warehouse and ensuring accuracy of stock holding at all timesdeveloping load manifests for dispatch operatorsaccurate data entry in dispatching orders and expediting for incoming ordersliaising with customer service, sales and operations teams, along with third-party transport providersupholding the high safety standards of the site predominantly with issues related to transportation, Chain of Responsibility and Load restraint complianceMore About You We are on the lookout for a dedicated team player who has the following:route planning experience in a similar environmentthe ability to work in a fast-paced environmentknowledge and experience of MS Office and SAP or similar ERP systemseffective stakeholder engagement and collaboration with departments and teamsa positive attitude and willingness to work within the teamcommitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for othersWhy BlueScope​As we’re creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope supports you to build your expertise within a safe and positive team environment.
