Title:APS-3: Operations Support Specialist (OSS)Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!Program SummaryKBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion – KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site and aboard ship to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek, SC in support of the Army’s power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets stored aboard marine vessels are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR provides limited maintenance and supply support aboard ship to ensure that equipment sets are maintained in a ready condition for emergency download and issue to operating units at the direction of the US Army. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs, IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.Job SummaryThe Operations Support Specialist (OSS) coordinates and expedites movement of all out bound shipments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to load planning, uploading GFP/commercial rail/trucks providing transportation support to site operation. Movement of equipment and containers to and from the Port Support Activity (PSA), tracking shipment from and to various locations, e.g., Aerial Port of Debarkation, Sea Port of Debarkation (SPOD), Central Receiving and Shipping Point (CRSP), FedEx, and local vendors, and arranging for required GFP/commercial equipment to support loading/unloading of Government owned assets. Prepare Hazardous Declarations (HAZDECs), for joint inspections with JB CHS AFB personnel: weigh, tape, and mark equipment for air movement, provide shoring for air movement as required. provided in-transit visibility (ITY) for all RSOM properly securer equipment on transport vehicles. Prepare materials for Military Shipments and execute a full range of transportation tasks for ground, air, surface movements. abide by DOD 4500.R Defense Transportation Regulation; use Transportation Coordinator's Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMs II) Upload TCMD information into Total Asset Visibility in-transit Processing Station (TIPS). Provides guidance and training to lower-level supply personnel, e.g., Warehouse Specialist, Stock Clerk, shipping Receiving Clerk and provides assistance to the Supply Technician and Supervisor.Roles and Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day routine tasks, in accordance with established guidelines, and receive specific guidance from the supervisor

Coordinate with shops to ensure items are picked up/delivered and signed for in a timely manner

Maintain paperwork and files

Conduct inventories to maintain 100% accountability of material

Systemically update information in GCSS-Army

Update and create data/reports using Microsoft Office

Must be able to conduct causative research

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

M ust be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Must obtain and maintain local base access.

Must possess a valid State Driver’s License.

Must have High School diploma plus 2 years of college or technical school

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in production control/supply support or similar labor category

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand - between 2 to 3 hours per day.

Must be able to walk - between 4 to 5 hours per day.

Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. periodically.

Must be able to squat, knell, bend, reach and climb periodically.

Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Experience in warehousing/logistics or related on the APS-3, 4, or 5 programs

Expertise in G-Army, CMOS, and LOGSA platforms such FEDLOG

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office products

Expertise in meeting the requirements of the APS-3 PWS

Willing and able to occasionally work remotely from a TDY location for 2-4 months.

Experience in process improvement

Problem solving skills

Skilled in using of various Microsoft Office programs, basic skills in Excel and Outlook

For hourly employees, the premium overtime is paid at time and a half.

The APS-3 daily schedule is a 4-day workweek with the potential for overtime during high-demand missions.

The APS-3 standard workweek schedule is from 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday with possible overtime of up to 8 hours (as the mission demands).

The APS-3 workforce receives 11 Federal Holidays per year in addition to paid time off.
