Description Robert Half is looking for a Project professional for an interim opportunity as a VP/Director of Finance.As a member of the Executive Team, the VP/Director of Finance will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics. This contract opportunity will also be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all accounting functions, and conducting forecast analysis.Responsibilities

Run the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes

Adhere to the company's accounting policies and procedures

Regularly report on key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders

Create detailed business unit projections, highlight risks/opportunities, and oversee the preparation of relevant materials

Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modeling accuracy

Work with the executive team to develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for all aspects of the organization and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets

Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with the company's bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations Requirements - Minimum of 8 years' experience at an executive level role

Must have strong integrity, confidentially, and accountability

Strong written and verbal skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment

CPA designation or MBA highly preferred

Detail-oriented and high attention to accuracy are a must

Must be skilled in analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution

Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
