About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the operations of a 60+ unit mobile home community. This is a part-time, hands-on position requiring in-person management and occasional after-hours availability. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and firm yet fair—committed to fostering a well-maintained and respectful living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Tenant Management: Act as the primary point of contact for residents. Responsibilities include marketing available homes, screening tenants, managing leases, and handling move-ins/outs.
- Rent Collection & Compliance: Ensure timely rent collection. Work with the regional manager on delinquencies, payment plans, and evictions in compliance with South Carolina regulations.
- Property Oversight & Maintenance: Conduct regular site inspections. Coordinate vendors and contractors for landscaping, repairs, and upkeep of common areas.
- Community Relations: Enforce community rules and resolve disputes to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in property management; experience with mobile home parks or scattered-site rentals preferred.
Strong knowledge of South Carolina landlord-tenant laws.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
