Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our community's grounds, common areas, and facilities. Your role involves interacting with residents, promptly addressing their concerns, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance tasks ensuring timely completion without compromising on quality.

Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots.

Respond promptly to resident service requests.

Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance facilities.

Assist in new home delivery and set-up, reporting any warranty or follow-up work needed.

Read water meters, identify and resolve leaks within the community.

Conduct preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishment.

Maintain utility facilities within the community.

Adhere to safety precautions and OSHA requirements.

Maintain professional behavior and uphold community standards.

Secure utilities on vacant lots and adhere to city setback guidelines.

Collaborate effectively with team members to uphold Broadview's standards.

Communicate efficiently with vendors and residents.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Valid in-state driver’s license.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience is a plus.

HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience or certifications are advantageous.

OSHA certifications or completed training are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours per day.

Handling objects, tools, or controls with hands and fingers.

Ability to climb ladders, occasionally up to an 8-foot ladder safely.

Occasionally lifting or carrying items weighing up to 85 lbs.

Exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals.

Flexibility to climb, balance, or crawl in confined spaces.

Good vision abilities including close and distance vision.
