Apply for JobOur client, a global manufacturer specializing in flavors, fragrances, and active cosmetic ingredients, seeks a QC Lab Technician to join their team. The role offers a pay range of $20-$23.75/hr.Located in Florence, KYType of job: 3 month contract to hireSchedule: 3rd shift - Sun-Thurs: 11pm-7:30amResponsibilities :
Identify and document non-conforming products, making simple corrections.
Conduct basic equipment calibrations and support various lab functions as directed.
Enter test results into the computer for approval or rejection.
Perform analytical tests such as SG, RI, OR, % alcohol, titrations, pH, L.A.B, Absorbance by UV Spectrometry, Turbidity, and Color values.
Assist with pre-ship sample processes, filing, solution preparation, lab supplies maintenance, hazardous waste disposal, and equipment calibrations.
Document and communicate non-conformances to higher-level Quality personnel and operations.
Analyze and collect data for investigations.
Adhere to GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent (Chemistry or Laboratory Technique coursework preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years of manufacturing operations background (preferably in food or chemical) with at least 1 year of laboratory work experience.
SAP experience is required.
