Job Title: Accountant (Full-Time, Hourly)Description:Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Accountant to join their team! This full-time hourly position involves a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions, as well as managing timekeeping and payroll. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of Government contracts and compliance regulations.Responsibilities:Book and reconcile all accounts receivable (AR) transactions:

Generate customer invoices and all necessary supporting schedule

Submit all customer invoices in the WAWF or other customer system

Track invoice status and research/resolve any delays of payments

Book and reconcile received payments in the accounting system

Book and reconcile all accounts payable (AP) transactions:

Manage vendor settings in the accounting system

Enter vendor invoices in the accounting system and manage the Accounts Payable Aging for prompt vendor payments

Perform 3-way match for vendor invoices related to purchase orders

Manage vendor payments/ACH processing via the online banking system

Process expense reports and reconcile travel costs to projects and GL ledgers

Book and reconcile the company credit card transactions

Manage timekeeping and payroll:

Validate and post bi-weekly timecards and reconcile labor cost to payroll

Submit bi-weekly payroll

Book payroll journal entries

Manage payroll related on-boarding/offboarding/final check

Maintain sick leave schedule and enter balances in the bi-weekly payroll

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in a relevant field

5 + years of accounting experience

Advanced MS Excel knowledge and skills

Great attention to detail

Self-motivated and self-disciplined individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of Government contracts (CPFF, FFP, T&M) and project structure

Understanding FAR and DCAA compliance

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
