The international team delivers expertise and professional service on all aspects of legal matters to support the business development. This global team is a key partner to our business for risk decisions and day to day consultancy.What you can look forward to as a Legal Counsel- Region NA:
Provide legal advice to the leadership team
Advise and support business clients on legal matters to identify and effectively communicate risks and provide excellent solutions-oriented legal advice
Contract drafting, negotiation and advisory responsibilities ranging from standard contracts to one-off transactions
Advise on quality issues and related claims
Lead litigation activities; manage outside counsel and budget
Provide legal advice on a broad range of general corporate matters
Support compliance investigations, give training and implement initiatives
Execute and support various special projects including M&A, real estate, licensing, alliances, etc.
Efficient partnership and management of external counsel/advisors
Your Profile as a Legal Counsel- Region NA:
Bachelors degree in Law or relatable field
5+ years experience as a Legal counsel in business/ automotive environment
Solid and in-depth knowledge of legal related environment within multinational companies
Excellent communication and coordination skills to ensure effective team work on various cross functional projects and initiatives
Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial law
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
Business and solution-oriented mindset
Outstanding communication skills
