Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Piedmont, South Carolina. This role is pivotal in our team, providing support to a large number of employees across multiple locations. The HR Assistant will be responsible for answering HR related queries, assisting with employee benefits, and facilitating the onboarding process.Responsibilities: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company. Respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters, ensuring employee satisfaction and adherence to company policies. Handle HR paperwork, ensuring all documents are properly filled, filed, and maintained in the HR Management System. Conduct background checks as part of the recruitment process, adhering to all legal and company guidelines. Support employees with their benefit questions, providing accurate information and guidance. Utilize HRIS (Human Resources Info Systems) and other HR related software (ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, etc.) to maintain accurate employee records and data. Assist in HR administration tasks such as auditing and maintaining employee records. Provide excellent customer service to employees, resolving issues and queries in a timely and effective manner. Work closely with the HR team to improve processes and procedures, contributing to the efficient functioning of the department. Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities concurrently. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Experience with Ceridian and HRMS Knowledge of About Time software Skilled in Auditing Ability to conduct Background Checks Understanding of Benefit Functions Strong Customer Service skills Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems Knowledge of Human Resources Management System Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
