We are seeking reliable appliance installers and delivery drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and installing home appliances and furniture, unpacking items, connecting appliances to existing utilities, testing for proper operation, and removing packaging materials. Candidates will ensure that all items are set up and functioning correctly, maintaining a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, transport, and unload products safely to customer locations.
Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers according to manufacturer specifications.
Ensure that all installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and within the scheduled timeframe. Confirm the proper functioning of each appliance and leave the installation site clean and orderly.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns customers may have.
Perform pre-installation site inspections to ensure compatibility and readiness.
Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and installations, including logging dates, contents, and any issues encountered. Ensure timely and accurate tracking and reporting by updating records daily and submitting reports to the supervisor by the end of each week.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Assist warehouse personnel by pulling and preparing orders for shipment as directed. Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material according to warehouse procedures.
Ability to work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A state ID is required for a non-driver position.
Experience operating a 24-foot box truck or larger preferred.
Experience in appliance delivery and installation is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances safely.
Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing connections.
A smartphone with a camera & screen in good working condition.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Fuel the truck as needed. Report problems or issues to the supervisor.
