Privately owned, recently established polo/ equestrian farm looking for farm workers to help take care of a 375 acre property. Subject to experience of the applicants, there are a couple of positions available to fill (some of a more senior level and others a more junior level).
Job duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
Experience with mowing, weeding, harrowing, chemical spraying, seeding, application of fertilizer, erosion control (maintenance of pastures/ roads following heavy rain), maintenance of horse exercise track and arena, operation of irrigation systems, care of trees/ plants/ flowers on the property, are amongst some of the sought after skills from applicants.
Operating farm machinery and equipment.
Light, daily maintenance (repairs if required), on farm equipment/ machinery.
Some understanding/ awareness of horses and working with farm equipment and machinery around horses (or other livestock).
Some handyman/ maintenance skills for repairs such as fixing water troughs, fencing repairs, broken irrigation pipes etc.
Any specific experience relating to the maintenance of a polo field is an added bonus.

Looking for full time employees (working days/ hours to be discussed – job is based on a 48 hour week).
