Carpenter's Help

With a longstanding history and strong reputation for serving our community with excellence, The Improvement Company is looking to add hard-working individuals to our team. They will assist our carpenters with daily tasks necessary to effectively and efficiently complete home renovations of all kinds, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn, follow instructions well and pay attention to details, doing their part to maintain a positive, safe and clean work environment. They will be self-motivated and take pride in their work, while possessing an attitude of service toward customers and crew members alike. As a carpenter's helper on the TIC crew, you will be expected to confidently handle and maintain hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. You must be able to follow job site safety protocols, adhere to project guidelines and possess the ability to thrive in a team environment. In addition, it will be helpful to have a general understanding of construction practices and techniques, as well as familiarity with framing and trim carpentry. Field experience is a plus, though not necessary.
