Classification Title: Student Services Program Coordinator IPosting Number: TMP02444PO24College/Division: Division of Academic Affairs and ProvostDepartment: PROV Center for Integrative and Experiential LearningType of Temporary Position: Temporary StaffAdvertised Job Description: Working under the direct supervision of the Director or Associate Director in the Center for Integrative and Experiential Learning, the part-time coordinator will receive training and support and be an essential member of the CIEL team. Responsibilities will include:

Managing the Carolina Engage Grant ( CEG ) program for undergraduate students engaged in beyond the classroom experiences to include promoting and managing student applications, communicating with students, and keeping appropriate records.

Leading the CEG student grant review committee agenda and actions, to include making decisions on awards and funding.

Collecting student reflections on beyond the classroom experiences, identifying and redacting student work samples to be evaluated with rubrics and related assessment processes, and assisting with the execution, analysis, and reporting of Quality Enhancement Plan assessment initiatives.

Serving on the CIEL faculty/staff grant committee for multiple grant awards (includes reading/reviewing submissions, evaluating submissions with rubric, and participating in discussions leading to final decisions).

Bachelor’s degree

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to various populations

Ability to work in and manage online communication platforms

Ability to work with Microsoft Office products and various online systems (e.g. Banner, EAB Navigate, Formstack)

Leadership and interpersonal skills that are transferable to advising, management, and program development

Willingness to learn new skills

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree and/or teacher’s professional certification

Experience in working with undergraduate students, supporting the development of writing and reflection skills, and/or other teaching or collaborative work experience

Experience with project management related to grant funding or similar processes
