Position DescriptionTrane Technologies, a global leader in climate control solutions, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Sequence Coordinator to join our Columbia, SC plant. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping operations, global aftermarket coils, and Catalog coils production at our state-of-the-art facility. This position requires a strong leader who can provide clear direction to our sequence teams during two shifts, ensuring efficient and reliable production.Essential Job FunctionsKey Responsibilities:

Shipping Management: Oversee the shipping operations, including the coordination of outbound logistics, transportation, and distribution of our products to global customers. Ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Global Aftermarket Coils: Manage the production and quality control processes for global aftermarket coils, guaranteeing that they meet the highest industry standards and specifications.

Team Direction: Lead and guide the sequence teams on two shifts, providing clear instructions, setting production goals, and monitoring performance to ensure optimal productivity and quality.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs while maintaining product quality.

Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality control teams to maintain product quality, address any non-conformities, and continuously strive for excellence in manufacturing.

Resource Allocation: Ensure that resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, are allocated efficiently to meet production demands.

Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.

Education, Experience & SkillsBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in production coordination, logistics, or manufacturing management.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.

Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.

Proficient in using software and tools for production tracking and reporting
