CGI has over 92,000+ members in 40 countries and over 5k+ committed clients who benefit from our end-to-end services across the world.This position is based in either Lafayette, LA, Columbia, SC, Knoxville, TN or anywhere in the US where CGI has an office in the Central/Eastern Time Zones.Your future duties and responsibilities:In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of security policies and standards within our organization.Your primary responsibilities will include partnering with stakeholders to develop, review, and publish security policies and standards, providing governance and oversight to ensure alignment and reduce duplicity, and maintaining Agile team operations.Facilitate security policy and standard operations by partnering with stakeholders to draft, review, and publish security policies and standards.Execute governance and oversight function by posing credible challenges to stakeholders on correct requirement document categorization, alignment with controls, and reduction of duplicity throughout the security policy and standard portfolio.Maintain Agile team operations by creating and maintaining stories within Jira, and helping drive sprint planning sessions, standups, and reporting.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:4-6 years' experience in a cybersecurity, audit, risk, compliance, or GRC role required.Working knowledge of common security frameworks and regulations (e.g, NIST, CIS, SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST).Proven experience in evaluating and implementing controls, and with managing SOC 2 and or HITRUST or equivalent audits in a cloud native organization.Strong understanding of policy and data management.Knowledge of risk management practices and risk-based thinking to drive prioritization.Experience responding to, analyzing, and communicating security and information. technology-related practices and controls.Understand audit processes.Being a strong liaison between both internal and external stakeholders.Familiarity with GRC tools.Education Requirement:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field​​#LI-PK1#DICECGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
