Job DescriptionAbout the Team:The Field Change Order and Business Analytics team delivers a wide range of solutions. We leverage a global team utilizing principles in Project Management, Data Analysis and Application Development to satisfy a wide range of needs amongst our customers and internal partners. We provide insights that fuel growth and efficiency in our Hardware Support and Data Center Operations business, and ensure that product quality is an ongoing assurance on Oracle systems.About You:

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Business Analyst at Oracle You Will…

Deliver executive level operational metrics to summarize activities across the business and highlight actionable insights.

Answer ad hoc queries with robust, conclusion-driven analysis and reporting.

Implement self-service solutions for ongoing data requirements that are custom tailored to our varied business partners.

Work across teams to implement internal requirements in corporate data environments.

Develop applications that serve as collaborative hubs for various activities within the business.

Take ownership of data and reporting-based initiatives, driving them from ideation to implementation.

What You’ll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics or other quantitative field. Additional background (minor/graduate degree) in Business preferred.

Programming proficiency in the area of data manipulation and process automation (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA)

5+ years analytics and reporting experience in a corporate environment

Experience driving results within cross-functional, cross-departmental teams

Experience interfacing at an executive level in the course of regular work

Strong verbal and written communication acumen in a business setting

Preferred but not required: Familiarity with Oracle tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Data Visualization, Oracle APEX, Oracle Fusion and Oracle Primavera. Additionally Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, along with Agile methodologies.

Specific Position ResponsibilitiesPrepare analyses to initiate, execute and monitor Field Change Orders. Engineer and prepare KPIs to assess success across different areas of the business. Function as a key member of project teams to ensure reporting requirements are fulfilled in deployment. Assess opportunities to move manual exercises into automated data flows. Swiftly enable data visibility into new activities. Establish the relationships required to act as focal point in ensuring that data and reporting are in alignment across the thousands of users in our line of business. Understand our business well enough to interpret the data and analyze for improvement areas. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
