The Manufacturing Intern will coordinate with various departments and suppliers to perform calibrations, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of manufacturing/lab instruments and equipment per the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The technician will monitor equipment failures and work with the engineering team to determine the need for appropriate repairs, operate various test instruments and test fixtures. The manufacturing intern may also support production, quality, and facilities in business-critical activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support all production activities which may include working as a Tissue Process Technician if needed. Perform calibrations and maintenance activities prior to the scheduled due date Document calibration and maintenance activities in a CMMS system (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Review maintenance and calibration procedures Inspect parts, tooling, production materials/parts.
