Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients' team and we'll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry. As a Manager in Solution Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex business problems and innovative technical solutions. You will be instrumental in understanding business requirements and defining the solution architecture that translates these requirements into effective, workable solutions. Your expertise will guide technical decisions to ensure they align with business outcomes, offering recommendations that propel the business forward.Your key responsibilitiesIn this role, you will focus on the effective management and delivery of technology solutions, ensuring quality and risk management. You will engage in continuous process improvement and the identification of innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing solutions to complex problems and recommending policy changes.

Establishing procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the broader business function.

Exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Skills and attributes for successTo excel as a Manager in Solution Architecture, you will need a robust set of technical and business skills. Your success will be driven by your proficiency in::

Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfort leading conversations with audiences of all levels 

Ability to lead discovery meetings to identify system requirements and establish an understanding of business processes with the client 

Willingness to participate in the pre-sales process as needed for RFPs and SOWs 

Ability to lead the solutioning and design of the Salesforce platform 

Knowledge of Salesforce configuration and platform capabilities 

Work with developers to define and create specifications for any custom code or data migration requirements 

Ability to identify potential risks (people and technology), develop plans for mitigation, and support the change management efforts.

To qualify for the role, you must have

A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree)

Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience implementing Salesforce.com with teams of 5 or more people, and have hands on experience with configuration and customizations.

Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of developers

Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce.com technical architecture experience on enterprise projects

Minimum of 5 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java or C# preferred), SQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Force.com platform programming in Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Force.com platform out-of-the-box functionality, including best practices regarding security and automation

Minimum of 2 years of experience integrating Salesforce.com with external systems

Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification

Familiarity with relational database concepts 

Ability to be a self-starter and handle multiple tasks and priorities 

Willingness to travel based on client needs

Ideally, you’ll also have

Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master's degree in one of these areas preferred 

Salesforce Application Architect Certification

Salesforce System Architect Certification

One or more of the following certifications: Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Community Cloud Consultant

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $137,700 to $252,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $165,200 to $286,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
