Description We are looking to add a Customer Service Representative-CWB to our team in Columbia, South Carolina. This role involves supporting the Chubb Workplace Benefits contact center by servicing customers through inbound/outbound calls and emails in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and does not require a specific employment type.Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service via incoming telephone calls in a high-volume contact center environment. Assume ownership and ensure timeliness in handling customers' requests in an efficient, accurate, and detail oriented manner. Quickly build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner by identifying and exceeding their expectations. Navigate multiple systems and applications to research, analyze, and resolve customer requests and inquiries. Maintain performance and quality standards, as well as a positive phone experience for customers. Learn and apply the basic concepts of personal lines insurance principles and Chubb and Combined products offered to our CWB customers. Collaborate with team members and business partners to provide a positive customer experience. Work the scheduled shift between the hours of 7am-8pm CST, with the flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed. Assist with special requests as needed, and complete additional tasks and other projects/duties as assigned. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service Strong Communication and Collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in Operations and Research Ability to handle Inbound and Outbound Calls Knowledge of Insurance and Underwriting principles Familiarity with About Time, Phone Presence, and Benefit Functions Understanding of Hiring Processes and Revenue Accounting Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks Experience in Claim Administration Knowledge of Property management Excellent Communication Skills Basic Computer Skills and ability to work Onsite Decisive and capable of making critical decisions Understanding of Salary Structures and working with Business Partners Experience in handling Disability Claims No discriminatory language or phrasing is to be used in any communication.
