Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Call Center Specialist in Columbia, Maryland. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, providing support to our customers in a retail banking setting. Your primary duties will involve processing customer applications, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring efficient service delivery.Responsibilities: Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls, providing courteous and detail oriented customer service Facilitate the transfer of funds between internal and external accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Process and dispatch necessary documentation via email or fax in compliance with company policies Direct calls to the relevant internal departments for further assistance when necessary Assist in the opening and closing of various deposit and savings accounts, adhering to all relevant procedures Provide knowledgeable support for consumer loans, addressing client questions and resolving issues Open and service various types of deposit accounts, maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction Provide information and support for promotional activities, keeping customers informed about current offers Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to banking products and services to ensure a positive customer experience Refer customers to appropriate specialized banking services such as investments, loans, and trust services Promote and sell bank products and services to contribute to branch goals. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role Proficiency in using computer programs and CRM software Familiarity with customer service software Ability to answer and manage inbound calls effectively Proven experience in assisting customers with queries and issues Knowledge of certificates of deposit and collateral management Outstanding customer service skills Experience with wire transfer procedures Ability to provide sales support in a retail banking environment Strong relationship management skills Experience in personal banking and handling new accounts.
