Collaborate closely with primary care providers as a member of the medical team, providing routine consultation and conducting brief assessments and interventions for patients referred for same-day warm hand-offs and follow-up care.

Utilize evidence-based interventions to promote positive health behaviors, assess safety, screen for behavioral health disorders, and address immediate psychological health needs.

Provide clear and concise feedback to providers, establish action plans, and create follow-up plans.

Support integrated patient care by working collaboratively with medical teams, offering education on behavioral health concerns, facilitating referrals to specialty mental health services as needed, and promoting positive working relationships between medical partners and Burrell Behavioral Health.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Master's degree in a Human Services field.

Missouri licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist (PhD/PsyD/LP).

Provisional licensure (PLPC, LMSW, or PLP) may be considered.

Interest in and/or experience with brief interventions, team-based care, diverse populations, and a wide variety of psychiatric, substance abuse, and behavioral medicine problems.
