Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Our established client in SE Columbia is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is instrumental in their financial operations, with a focus on managing and processing accounts payable, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries. This role will also involve using Microsoft Excel and Blackbaud to manage and analyze financial data.Responsibilities: Efficiently managing and processing accounts payable within the company Reconciling account balances and transactions regularly to ensure accuracy Preparing and posting journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial records Utilizing Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report financial data Operating Blackbaud software for financial management and reporting Actively participating in the improvement of financial processes and procedures Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations Assisting in other financial tasks as needed to support the team's goals.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role. Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
