We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!Please note the pay rate for this role is $24 - $32 p/hrMUST submit resume with contact information for considerationBenefits:Work with a team that is motivated to keep you busyPeopleReady Skilled Trades offers weekly pay and flexible schedule for working on a variety of projects in a large network of contractorsMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, and sick timeOpportunity to go through OSHA 10 training if you don't have it alreadyWe offer referral bonuses where you can make up to $500 referring a journey-level tradespersonResponsibilities:Ability to work 5- 10's with possible weekend work as needed for the project's critical needsReview blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of materials, welds to specks, or needed adjustments to existing structuresMeasure, Cut, assemble, and install pipes, plates, & tubes with attention to existing infrastructureBuild, install, and maintain Piping systems & supports as neededInstall new or replace existing materials in preparation for scheduled adjustmentsMaintain work Schedule on installation crew for Pipe InstallationPerform braising, soldering, and welding as needed to connect different types of piping systemsFollow all Site, Federal, State, and Local regulatory Safety and trade-specific regulations & best practicesComplete assigned tasks as defined in Drawings; Plans, & as-built specifications provided by management teamsQualifications:Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documentsMust be local to the Charleston areaOSHA 10 Certification or a willingness to obtain itWelding certifications, credentials, or Training preferred for most positionsA Complete Personal Tool Bag for the job including Protective & Safety equipment will be needed for this position5 plus years as a 6G Welder in Industrial or commercial settings is PreferredAbility to Weld in all positions including 6G on pipe, Structural components, or related work requirementsAbility to Weld Pipe ranging from 1/2 copper to 36" including but not limited to Victaulic or HDPE, copper, PVC, Steel, & CarbonAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationPrior experience in the Commercial Or Industrial Mechanical field (required)Prior experience using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-core (preferred)The position will require a drug screen & Background check etc.Job Perks:Starts ImmediatelyOvertime availableLong-term opportunity!#SKILLEDTRDPLUS
