We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!Please note the pay rate for this role is $24 - $32 p/hrMUST submit resume with contact information for considerationBenefits:Work with a team that is motivated to keep you busyPeopleReady Skilled Trades offers weekly pay and flexible schedule for working on a variety of projects in a large network of contractorsMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, and sick timeOpportunity to go through OSHA 10 training if you don't have it alreadyWe offer referral bonuses where you can make up to $500 referring a journey-level tradespersonResponsibilities:Ability to work 5- 10's with possible weekend work as needed for the project's critical needs.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsKnowledge of building codesAssemble, install, and alter plumbing systems Install water heating systems Install Chill water systemsTroubleshoot and repair pipe, plumbing, and pipeline systems Install, connect, and test septic and commercial sewer systems Adhere to safety policies and procedures Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materialsKnowledge of safety procedures and regulationsInstalling copper, Victaulic cast iron, and PVC/CPVC pipes, along with drain, sewer, and gas linesUtilizing hand tools and cutters to cut pipe to desired lengths and electric threaders as well as hand threaders to thread pipeQualifications:Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documentsMust be local to the Charleston areaOSHA 10 Certification or a willingness to obtain itPlumbing certifications, credentials, or Training preferredA Complete Personal Tool Bag for the job including Protective & Safety equipment will be needed for this position5+ years working in the Plumbing field in Industrial or commercial settings or Completion of verifiable training Required Ability to Read Blueprints, Cut Materials, and Install Plumbing, pipe, and Structural components, or connect Prefabricated Building ComponentsAbility to connect and assist with 1/2 copper to 36" including but not limited to Victaulic or HDPE, copper, PVC, Steel, & CarbonAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationPrior experience in the Commercial Or Industrial Mechanical field (required)Prior experience using With Commercial & Industrial Plumbing (preferred)The position will require a drug screen & Background checkJob Perks:Starts ImmediatelyOvertime availableLong-term opportunity!#SKILLEDTRDPLUS
