We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!Please note the pay rate for this role is $24 - $30 p/hrMUST submit resume with contact information for considerationBenefits:Work with a team that is motivated to keep you busyPeopleReady Skilled Trades offers weekly pay and flexible schedule for working on a variety of projects in a large network of contractorsMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, and sick timeOpportunity to go through OSHA 10 training if you don't have it alreadyWe offer referral bonuses where you can make up to $500 referring a journey-level tradespersonResponsibilities:Ability to work 5- 10's with possible weekend work as needed for the project's critical needs.Installing Pipe for various Industrial UsesLift Experience & similar certification is a plusCutting, threading, or hammering pipes using various power and hand toolsMeasuring and marking pipes for cutting or threadingCutting or boring holes in structuresInterpreting layouts while studying blueprints and following relevant codesTroubleshooting problemsInspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelinesBolting & unbolting flanges while ensuring proper placement & fitUsing various tools to connect & repair systemsQualifications:Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documentsMust be local to Charleston areaOSHA 10 Certification or a willingness to obtain itPipefitting certifications, credentials, or Training preferredComplete Personal Tool Bag for the job including Protective & Safety equipment will be needed for this position5+ years as a Pipefitter in Industrial or commercial settings is preferredAbility to Fit pipe, Structural components, or Prefabricated Building components is a mustAbility to Cut, Prep, & Install Pipe ranging from 1/2 copper to 36" including but not limited to Victaulic or HDPE, copper, PVC, Steel, & CarbonAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationPrior experience in the Commercial Or Industrial Mechanical field (required)Prior experience & References (required)Position will require a drug screen & Background checkJob Perks:Starts ImmediatelyOvertime availableLong term opportunity!#SKILLEDTRDPLUS
