Mechanic For Utility Const. Company

Unified Utility Services LLC is looking for a qualified drug free Mechanic with experience and capable to repair our fleet of pickups,bucket trucks and misc equipment to include trailers,trenchers and small engine type tooling. this means you will need to have a working knowledge and experience with gas and diesel engines,hydraulic cylinder repairs and rebuilds, electrical troubleshooting etc. we have a full service maintenance shop that you will be in charge of.you will be responsible for preventive maintenance also. you must be neat and maintain your work space in a organized fashion. as far as diesel engines I don't expect you to be proficient in repairs but maintaining and troubleshooting problems with them will be your responsibility. if it's outside your ability we will send it to a diesel shop. you may on occasion have to leave the shop to assist a breakdown on the road. you must have a valid driver's license and your own basic mechanics tools. Diesel knowledge and welding abilities is a plus. this is a monday through friday position. you may on occasion need to work on a weekend or evening to repair a needed piece of equipment.we provide FEMA storm response crews for hurricanes so this is a busy time for us ensuring our bucket trucks are ready to deploy. this is a great opportunity for someone who is a self motivated individual who enjoys working independant with little to no supervision. if this sounds like a good fit for you email this ad with your name,phone number and list your experience and I will call you for a phone interview.
