As a Multifamily HVAC PM/Field Manager, you will oversee and manage the individual jobs within the multifamily department and make sure they come in on time, high quality workmanship and at or under budget. Be able to demonstrate consistent effective leadership and communication skills to oversee crews and individual projects at all stages. A strong attention to detail and follow-through to maintain scheduling and cost analysis with the team is a must. If you are a customer-focused and detail-oriented individual, with a background in HVAC, then we would love to speak with you.

This candidate must have HVAC multi-family/commercial construction experience. They will perform various duties and have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver outstanding results. In order to keep our customers happy, they would need to make sure that our projects adhere to company quality standards and stay on schedule and under budget. They will implement company procedures and help formulate the division’s overall strategy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Effectively communicate with general contractors and field staff to maintain project goals and standards, as well as to address issues that may arise in a timely manner

· Meet with customers, sales and staff personnel to maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion

· Review all plans and be able to recognize potential RFI’s or field changes that may be needed

· Oversee the delivery of projects to customers from start to finish in the field.

· Maintain company culture, safety, and quality through leading by example.

· Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documents, and reporting.

· Build and develop a pipeline of subcontractors to fulfill labor needs

· Ensure compliance with company standards

· Establish a collaborative working relationship with internal staff as well the customer.

· Complete daily reports and all required documentation timely.

· Set specific goals and action plans for the jobs you are overseeing.

· Follow company procedures and company policies.

· Meet profit objectives based on budgets.

· Constantly review company policies to unlock any opportunities to create greater efficiencies in company policies.

· Monitor warehouse inventory and tool inventory. Approve tool purchases

· Respond with urgency and flexibility to meet frequently changing project schedules/scopes.

· Develop and maintain both internal and external customer relationships of confidence and trust.

· Establish a collaborative working relationship with Customers, Vendors and Internal Staff.

· Reviews and approves vendor pay estimates, material requests, installer payables, and invoices.

· Coordinate the business through all phases of material management, construction, and close-out, with the goal of meeting company standards and customer expectations.

· Execute project teams, providing advice, and direction in regard to project management techniques, benchmarks, customer expectations, budgetary considerations, company policies, and procedures.

· Manage the flow and accuracy of paperwork for the projects.

· Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials needed

· Ensure procurement of materials and equipment for each project are within the budget constraints, and consistent with the project delivery schedule. Achieve maximization of profits and sustainable ROI by prudent and efficient resources.

· Work with management and staff to identify and negotiate contract change orders.

· Attend project status meetings and assists in problem solving efforts.

· Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc.

· Stage all allocated materials to be picked up at least one day prior. Double check for accuracy.

· Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation

· Prepare necessary project close-outs with team at the end of projects.

· Keep warehouse organized and bin locations updated for materials.

· Increase project margins through efficiencies.

· Submit monthly order projection report to supervisors.

· Provide weekly job status, revenue, profit and warranty reports to Division President.

Qualification Requirements:

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· 3+ years previous HVAC residential/multifamily service experience

· Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, applications and operations

· Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy

· Demonstrate experience leading a team and achieving results

· Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints

· Strong time management skills and a self-starter mentality

· Strong organization and customer service skills

· Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective relationships and communicate with a diverse group of senior leadership, managers, customers and staff either in person, via telephone or via email

· Critical thinking processes and problem-solving expertise

· Results oriented and customer focused

· Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances
