A Home Inspector performs a standardized, non-diagnostic inspection of a residential property performed according to the International Standards of Practice for Performing a General Home Inspection. A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector. This is a physical and dirty job that requires crawling under homes and walking on roofs.
