About the Role:
Family-owned Mount Pleasant company seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accounting and Software Implementation Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to help streamline operations by supporting the cleanup and transition of their accounting system and assisting with the implementation of new software. For the right candidate, this role may develop into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. QuickBooks Setup and Cleanup:
o Transition from QuickBooks Enterprise to QuickBooks Pro.
o Enter and verify data manually to ensure accuracy and consistency.
o Organize and streamline financial records.
2. Software Implementation Support:
o Assist in the integration of QuickBooks with our new RCC software.
o Help implement RCC, including setup for invoicing, payment processing, scheduling deliveries, and integrating tank monitors.
3. Accounting and Operations Support:
o Manage invoicing and payment processing.
o Oversee scheduling for deliveries and related operations.
4. HR and Administrative Duties:
o Draft and compile company policies.
o Provide support for payroll and benefits administration.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with QuickBooks (Enterprise and Pro) and accounting software integration.
Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software quickly.
Familiarity with invoicing, payment processing, and general accounting principles.
HR experience, including policy drafting and payroll oversight, is a plus.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
