Job DescriptionData Center Platform Application Engineering (DCPAE) is part of Datacenter and AI (DCAI) organization under Data Platform Engineering and Architecture group. The Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) DCPAEs are responsible for server platform error handling architecture enablement for a range of Xeon architecture-based cloud and data-center server platform ingredients including CPU, UPI, PCIe, DDR, CXL, BMC, etc.The ideal candidate should exhibit the following Behavioral Traits:

The duration of the internship will be 6-9 months with the possibility to extend based on business needs.QualificationsThis position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a master’s or PhD degree, or a bachelor’s degree with three years related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.Minimum Qualifications:The candidate must be pursuing a MS degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldRequired 6+ months of experience or coursework in the following areas:

Digital Hardware.

Logic Design basics.

Computer Organization.

Advance Computer Architecture.

(C/C).

BIOS.

Operating Systems (Linux, Windows).

Python/Shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in x64 CPU Architecture.

Server System Machine Check Architecture.

Operating Systems interactions.
