Invenco by GVR is seeking a Manager, R&D Portfolio Forecasting & Analysis who will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of robust forecasting and analysis tools and processes for the R&D portfolio. In this role you will collaborate closely with senior leaders across R&D, Product and Commercial to provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize the portfolio value, risk, and alignment with the company's vision and goals.What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)

Work with regional forecasters and analysts to deliver high-quality, timely, and accurate forecasts and analyses for the R&D portfolio, including revenue, cost, NPV, ROI, and other relevant metrics.

Maintain a detailed understanding of the shape and drivers of the R&D portfolio through pro-active involvement with key customers and stakeholders including Project Teams, R&D and Commercial leadership, Product Team and Finance. Track short- and long-term objectives for project and portfolio delivery in conjunction with key corporate goal tracking.

Provide portfolio-level reporting and dashboards to senior R&D leaders and stakeholders, highlighting key trends, opportunities, risks, and trade-offs.

Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to support portfolio decision making and prioritization, as well as contingency planning and risk mitigation.

Collaborate with R&D functions and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency of assumptions, methodologies, and data sources for portfolio forecasting and analysis.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation of portfolio forecasting and analysis tools and processes, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.

The base compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000 per year. Minimum 10 years of experience in forecasting and analysis, preferably in software company

Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and managing teams.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the R&D portfolio lifecycle, processes, and drivers.

Expertise in portfolio forecasting and analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications. Experience with advanced analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence platforms preferred.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain efficient connections with Sr. leadership team and global functions. Excellent people skills and the ability to build and maintain positive work relationships to effectively interface at all levels across the organization.

Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to synthesize and integrate data from multiple sources and perspectives.

Demonstrated strong leadership, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and customer-focused. Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and across diverse functions and geographies.

Purposeful, initiative-taking, and adaptable. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, statistics, engineering, or life sciences.
