Entry-Level Construction Superintendent/Builder

David Weekley Homes is looking for hard-working, highly motivated candidates to join our Charleston team as a Residential Construction Superintendent/Builder.All Superintendents go through our comprehensive on-the-job training before taking on the responsibility of building homes.Responsibilities include:Mentoring with tenured Builders/Construction Managers to learn how to effectively oversee the construction process of homesLearning how to build a home the Weekley Way and communicate effectively with internal and external customersUnderstanding each phase of the home building process and sales process as well as OSHA and safety issuesConstruct quality homes per Building the Weekley Way standards within a prescribed time schedule while minimizing costsSchedule, oversee and inspect the quality of the work performed by subcontractors and hold them accountable to David Weekley Homes' quality standardsComplete punch sheets, check frame packages, and run final inspection list on homesWork with Sales Consultants toward providing home buyers with the home they want and exceeding expectationsMaintain rapport with home buyers in regard to buyer concerns and optionsMaintain a professional, clean and organized job siteNegotiating prices and working with management to establish labor budgetsManaging materials and completing subcontractor payroll
