Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will be providing technical support and troubleshooting services for desktop computers within our organization. This includes managing and maintaining necessary hardware, providing deskside support, and handling any necessary break-fix tasks.Responsibilities: Provide technical support for desktop computers and related hardware Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop computers and other related hardware Manage and maintain computer hardware such as Cisco hardware Provide deskside support to users, ensuring optimal system performance Handle break-fix tasks, repairing or replacing hardware as needed Maintain accurate records of all technical support and troubleshooting activities Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of desktop computers Provide excellent customer service to users, resolving inquiries and issues in a timely manner Stay updated on the latest information technology trends and apply this knowledge in everyday tasks. Requirements Demonstrated experience in Desktop Support Analyst role Proficient in computer hardware setup and troubleshooting Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Hardware Proven track record in Deskside Support Expertise in Break Fix methodology Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical issues Strong communication skills with an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Ability to work independently and in a team environment Familiarity with various software and hardware platforms Flexibility to adapt to changing technology environments High level of professionalism and customer service skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Willingness to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
