The Claims Motor Assessing Drive-in Centre (DIC) Assessor is responsible to determine quantum and merit of damages sustained in an incident to vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, caravans, watercraft and yellow metal equipment.Minimum Requirements:Own Road worthy VehicleValid driver’s licenseMinimum 2 years assessing or estimating experienceLeadership, Management and or Insurance related studies completed or in progress will be beneficial VDQ Member (Practicing or Professional)Responsibilities:Assessing claims on a daily basisMonitor and manage the average repair cost as well as the quality of their own assessmentsDealing with customer complaints and ad-hoc queriesAnalysing of own data to ensure meeting targetsGood understanding of performance KPI’sLiaise with service providers, clients and advisorsConduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place
