We are expanding our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants living in the Wollongong & Nowra region and welcome an Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community. You’ll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role. Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the following areas (depending on where you live) Wollongong, Nowra & surrounding suburbs. We will provide you with a bucket load of structured supervision, mentoring and CPD opportunities. You might find us in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or our clinic space.Responsibilities will include:Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic servicesAssess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessmentsInterpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participantProvide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goalsMentor and nurture early career cliniciansMaintain awareness of current legislation to ensure complianceWhat's in it for you?As you support many, we support you.
