By joining our team, you will help C-suite executives and programme leaders transform their organisations through emerging hybrid cloud technologies, IT resilience strategies, and workload migration frameworks.Deloitte’s Cloud Engineering team consists of technical thought leaders and cloud architects who design hybrid cloud, workload migration, and disaster recovery solutions for enterprises. Our Cloud team is at the heart of technical solutioning and leads the modernisation of enterprise IT infrastructures.Work you'll doAs a Backup & Recovery Architect and Technical Sales Advisor  you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise backup and recovery solutions across hybrid environments. You will work closely with clients to assess current-state capabilities, define target-state architectures, and transition backup services into modern, policy-driven platforms.You will develop disaster recovery strategies aligned to RTO/RPO requirements, regulatory compliance, and cyber resilience principles. Your responsibilities will include conducting technology assessments, building technical runbooks, supporting DR test planning, and ensuring operational readiness.In addition to delivery, you will support technical sales initiatives by contributing to proposals, RFx responses, and client engagements. Your trusted advisor role will involve working with pre-sales teams and service delivery leads to provide insight into backup trends, vendor capabilities, and service integration approachesProposals, Business Development & Technical Sales Support:Assist in proposal development and RFx responses for backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.Conduct technical assessments, client workshops, and solutioning sessions to align client requirements with leading practices.Identify business opportunities, network at industry events, and support business development strategies for resilience offerings.Provide technical leadership during steering committee meetings and architecture discussions.Develop and present PoCs and solution blueprints that demonstrate backup maturity, automation, and recovery capabilities.Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to stay up to date on technology roadmaps, regulatory trends, and market needs.
