HR Specialist

Olsten Staffing is assisting a well-established company in the Bethune SC area in the search for an experienced HR Specialist. This is a direct hire opportunity with the company.Salary range:$50K-$75K based on experienceHours:Day shift hoursKey tasks and responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day HR activities within own area(s) of expertise (e.g. payroll, recruitment , training) May perform a variety of HR support activities in accordance with the established standards and may assists in a variety of assigned HR projects Contributes to implementation of group HR policies to plant/country circumstances and processes in line with the global HR plan Provide support to Managers and HR within own area of responsibility Responsible for all aspects of recruitment for the site's hourly workforce. Identify and attract potential candidates from various sources, such as job boards, social media, and referrals Review resumes and conduct initial phone or in-person interviews to select suitable candidates Set up meetings between candidates and hiring managers Manage recruitment data Support all aspects of the pre-hire and onboarding process of new hires Help streamline the recruitment process to meet the company's hiring needsQualifications: Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. High level of technical skills, including competency in Word, Excel, Power Point and ADP. Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required. Self-starter, highly motivated and able to work with limited direction. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
