Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the manufacturing industry, based in Beaufort, South Carolina, 29906, United States. The role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, with responsibilities including the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records with accuracy Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy Manage the accounting close process Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and record-keeping Conduct gap analysis to ensure financial accuracy and transparency Manage the month end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and general ledger updates Reconcile balance sheet account and bank statements Handle year-end closings, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reports Knowledge of Accounting Software Systems for efficient data entry and financial management Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Proficient in Gap Analysis for identifying any discrepancies in financial records Experience in Month End Close activities for timely financial reporting Ability to Reconcile Balance Sheet Account to ensure accuracy of company's financial status Proficiency in Reconciling Bank Statements to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly Experience in Year End Closings to assist in the preparation of annual financial reports Knowledge of General Ledger operations to manage and maintain financial data Capability to prepare and review Journal Entries for accurate recording of the company's transactions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
