Marine Mechanic

Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island.Ensure he/she is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting marine engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components of boats, yachts, jet skis and other watercraftConduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and performance tests.Collaborates with managers to comprehend project demands, formulate work plans, and set deadlines.Manages resources such as equipment, materials, and personnel to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and repair equipment efficiently.Hands-on experience working with outboard, inboard, Seadoo jet skis and diesel marine engines.Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements best practices to boost efficiency and productivity.Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair needs to supervisors.
