Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island.Leads and oversees a team of gardeners to ensure their work is safe, efficient, and meets the resort's standards and SOPs.Oversees the selection, installation, and upkeep of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants, ensuring proper planting techniques and care.Manages the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems and drainage solutions to optimize water management and soil health.Collaborates with managers to comprehend project demands, formulate work plans, and set deadlines.Manages resources such as equipment, materials, and personnel to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.Inspects guest areas to confirm that the landscape meets quality standards and complies with design specifications.Ensures all landscaping activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of safety equipment and adherence to safe work practices.Provides training and guidance to staff on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.Keeps accurate records of work performed, including labor hours and materials used.Implements sustainable landscaping practices and strives to minimize environmental impact.Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements best practices to boost efficiency and productivity.
