AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Case Manager ((also known internally as Employment & Community Services Coordinator - ECSC) for our Employment Business Services (EBS) program in Staten Island. The case manager works closely with our pre-employment caseload, coordinating and directing services to help participants successfully transition into employment. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service and conducting work readiness lessons while collaborating with the job development team to secure job placements for participants.Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with occasional evenings and weekends required for recruitment events.Salary: $38,000-$42000 per year plus a low-to-no cost, comprehensive health benefit package. See Benefit information below.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with job seekers, employers, funding sources, schools, training sites, and community partners to ensure effective coordination and support.Provide top-quality customer service to job seekers before, during, and after job placement, ensuring long-term success in employment.Conduct work readiness lessons, Job Clubs, and pre-employment groups to address employment-related issues and prepare participants for the workforce.Guide participants through the enrollment process and provide counseling in both individual and group settings.Collaborate with Account Executives and other EBS staff to ensure job seekers are well-prepared for employment opportunities.Build and nurture relationships with community partners to support recruitment efforts and coordinate outreach events to enroll new participants.Ensure program compliance with New York State and Federal regulations, as well as the Workforce Investment Act, including conducting parent meetings as needed.Engage in Person-Centered practices, including Discovery and Customized Employment processes.Participate in interdisciplinary team activities, including case conferences and staff meetings, to ensure coordinated support for job seekers.Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the program.
