Areas of responsibility
Ensure that Loss Prevention Officer are for duty at the assigned time and place and are physically
and mentally fit to perform duties.
Ensure that Loss Prevention Officer are in complete and proper uniform and shall be properly
equipped.
Ensure that Loss Prevention Officer are aware of all information required for performance of duty so
that they may immediately assume their assignments.
Ensure that Loss Prevention Officer are Loss Prevention Officers are present at the jetties/entrance
points during the arrival, loading, unloading and departure of any craft or vessel. Each craft or
vessel movement should be recorded with the times and purpose of visit
Ensure that no person enter property without the prior authorization of the Management.
Conduct fire and security patrols of the entire property area under the instructions. Each patrol
shall take place in areas in particular of high risks such as generator room, fresh water storage,
technical area, fuel storage, jetties, kitchens, guests and staff accommodation.
Prepare daily reports
Coordinate day to day operations
Conduct briefing and debriefing for shifts
Monitor the general hygiene and well being of the team
Manage Loss Prevention team on shifts
Secure rooms, assist guests with room access and conduct key control audit
Conduct emergency response drill
Daily physical hazard/safety inspections
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems
Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations.
Respond to accidents, contact Crisis Management administer first aid/CPR as required.
Maintain confidentiality of reports/documents, release information to authorized individuals.
Defuse disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Resolve safety hazard situations
Handle interruptions and complaints.
Assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees
Serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door
Policy process
Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
to manager
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address
guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using
appropriate etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common
goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
