Linen Attendant

As a linen attendant, you will be responsible for managing the inventory, distribution, and maintenance of linens and towels used in the resort. Your role is essential in ensuring an adequate supply of clean and quality linens for guest rooms, public areas, and team facilities. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth operation of the resort’s linen management system.Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, including tracking stock levels, usage, and replenishment needs.Receive, inspect, and organize incoming linen deliveries.Conduct regular stock takes to reconcile inventory levels and identify any discrepancies.Collaborate with the relevant business units to forecast linen requirements and coordinate orders.Ensure timely distribution of clean linens to designated areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and team facilities.Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure linens are available as per schedule and demand.Monitor and track the return of used linens for laundering.Inspect linens for damage, stains, or excessive wear, and separate items for repair or replacement.Coordinate with the laundry team to prioritize the cleaning and repair of damaged linens.Maintain a system for tracking and documenting linen repairs and replacements.Ensure that all linens meet established quality standards in terms of cleanliness, appearance, and functionality.Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize linen-related issues.Properly store and organize clean linen in designated storage areas.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in linen storage areas.Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address any linen-related issues or needs.Provide training and guidance to new linen management team members as required.
