Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team for on-call overnight shifts, transporting goods for Amazon Relay. As an overnight driver, you will ensure the timely and safe freight delivery between Amazon facilities and other designated locations.
Responsibilities:
Transport goods efficiently and safely using Amazon Relay services.
Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and Amazon personnel.
Handle freight with care, ensuring products are secure and undamaged.
Requirements:
Valid commercial driver's license (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience, preferably with overnight or long-haul routes.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.
Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
