Growing local tire wholesaler seeking candidates to join our team in the Pawtucket Distribution Center. Ability answer phones and schedule deliveries. Looking for an enthusiastic, team player with excellent customer service and warehouse experience.
Job requirements:
-Must have valid drivers license
-Must be able to work in a fast environment
-Must have good phone skills
-Tire knowledge a plus
-Knowledge with delivery routes with cut off times
-Handle inbound and outbound processes
-Computer knowledge
-Spanish speaking is a plus
Reponsibilities:
-Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
-Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
-Communicating with customers to answer shipping questions and troubleshoot problems
-Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
-Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
-Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed
Qualifications:
-Ability to delegate when assigning employee workloads
-Problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and delivery issues
-Clear knowledge of warehouse operations
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Management skills
-Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiently
-Proficiency in inventory and/or invoice software
