Are you willing to relocate or commute? On-Site Mobile Repair is looking for an experienced (5+ yrs) and dependable truck technician. Relocation reimbursement and temporary housing are available.
We are an established and growing mobile repair service located on the island of Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, specializing in commercial and municipal Heavy Duty fleets. Our work includes repairs on Light, Medium, and Heavy Duty vehicles as well as Off-Road equipment. Our mechanics have to talk to customers, both about their vehicle problems and options to fix those problems. Repeat customers are integral and mechanics should be friendly, a good communicator and available to answer questions of the supervisor. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance. Mechanical and Technical Know-How is a must. Must have drivers license and own tools.
Job expectations are:
Perform minor and major repairs to trucks, cars and equipment.
Have a good attitude and be able to work efficiently and independently.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance including inspections and oil changes.
Maintain basic parts inventory, shop supply inventory, and cleanliness of your service truck.
Collaborate with the repair team to properly diagnose problems and plan appropriate repairs with the manager.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
Pay and benefits dependent on experience. $34 - $42 hour, 2 weeks vacation during first year, holiday after 3 month probationary period. Relocation reimbursement and temporary housing are available. Call 508-687-9792 and/or send resume to: [email protected]
