Home Towne Auto Body is seeking a talented Body Shop Technician to join our successful team. We are a growing collision repair company, individually owned and operated for over 45 years. We have 1 location in North Smithfield, RI. with 12,000 sq. feet of working area. Our high integrity demands technicians who are highly motivated in ensuring our customer's vehicles are brought back to pre collision condition.

Responsibilities:
As a Auto Body Technician you will be responsible for performing automotive repairs and service as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and shop standards.
Perform work as outlined on repair orders.
Examine damaged vehicles for repairs.
Conduct parts inventory for collision repairs to ensure accuracy.
Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs to determine the schedule for final assembly.
R & I new and used parts.
Able to fix or replace all types of body panels Etc.
Repair uni-body/Frames or replace components as needed.
Welding and bonding body panels
Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance.
A valid driver's license
Basic tools needed to be successful.
Apply surface coatings or body fillers following applicable procedures and disposal processes.
Ensure that work areas are kept clean.
Use safety equipment at all times.
Must follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager/ supervisor

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills preferred
